The available subsidy budget for both category 3 and category 4 of the Subsidy Scheme for Social Initiatives on the Trans-Atlantic Slavery Past for the Caribbean part of the Kingdom (SUMS-C) was oversubscribed for several islands.
A notarial draw was therefore held for these islands to determine the processing order. In category 3, a draw was held for Curaçao and Sint Maarten. In category 4, this concerns Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba and Sint Maarten. You can find the results of these notarial lotteries here: Uitkomst loting eerste aanvraagtijdvak categorie 3 en 4 SUMS-C per eiland.
Update on processing order
The processing order has changed because some applications were incomplete or were (partly) rejected for other reasons. Below you will find the current order of processing for each island where a lottery was held. In addition to the applications under review directly (green shading), it shows the applications that may still be taken into review (orange shading). These applications may qualify if the applications under review receive a rejection decision. These applicants will be personally notified of this by email. If you have questions about your position in the established processing order, you can reach us by email or phone: Contact
